Flower delivery to Dolní Lutyně from a nearby florist
Dolní Lutyně, including the local part of Věřňovice, lies near the Polish border between Bohumín and Karviná. The village was first mentioned in 1305.
The baroque parish church of St John the Baptist, built between 1740 and 1746, is surrounded by a cemetery with baroque statues of saints from the mid-18th century. The castle opposite the church dates from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries and served as a summer residence for the Taaffes in the 18th century. An 1805 polygonal log barn with a thatched roof also stands in the village.
