Flower delivery to Sviadnov from a local florist

Sviadnov is a municipality. Its first written mention is in the will of Bishop Bruno of Schauenburg, dated 29 November 1267.

On Štandl Hill (351 m) are the remains of a medieval fortified seat, including a surviving rampart and ditch, with an educational trail running around it. J. Šlosara Sviadnov Primary School on Na Závodí Street continues the tradition of the municipal school founded and consecrated in 1867. Restaurant Ondráš is housed in the former municipal inn, built in 1903. Since 1997, a production plant belonging to the Dutch Huisman group has operated on Nádražní Street, making cranes and drilling rigs, among other products.
